TypeScript test automation

75
Headline result
test runs (25 tests in Chromium, Firefox and WebKit) all pass, including a fix for a problem that appeared in only one browser.

The question

Does the store's login, product list, cart and checkout work the same way in every major browser?

The method

The suite uses the Page Object Model: each page has one class that holds its selectors and actions, so tests read like plain steps. Custom fixtures supply page objects and a logged-in session. Tests cover login, the catalog, the cart and the full multi-step checkout. A build on GitHub Actions runs every test on each push and fails if any test fails.

Limits

The suite leaves out the problem_user and error_user accounts, the sidebar menu and product images. Those choices are stated in the project's README.
